This games depiction of a grad students relationship with their grant chasing advisor is eerily accurate in many cases. The story also presents several political and ethical quandaries. Youre left contemplating whether a grad student can strike out on their own and make their way in the world without foregoing their principles and initial enthusiasm for their field. Will you sell out your morals, chase prestige, and destroy humanity? Will you risk your life to rescue your spouse before theyre sent to an internment camp during the robot wars? This game certainly doesnt limit you.

Best game Ive ever played. I give this game 10/10, totally recommend it.

Quite the compelling game. Wonderful replay value, engaging relationships, impacting choices, and Id have to say my favorite text based game to date. Describing it in terms of merely a game, however, does not give it the credit it deserves. You live a lifetime within it. The relationships tug at your heart. The world you live in is altered by you and in turn alters you. Long after playing it I have thought about it. From one story teller to another, your work here is quite well done and deserves hearty applause, Kevin Gold.

The story is interesting, options are varied, and choices matter. I spent several hours replaying this game to see how different choices affected the world and trying to find the best ending. I highly recommend this game!

Simply amazing, there are so many different variations and endings its ridiculous.

The choices and variety of stories is amazing. Well written and filled with great references from music,literature, and pop/geek culture. Ive read it four times with completely different stories and look forward to reading more.

Wonderful story! Great characters. Incredible diversity of choices and outcomes. Very well done. Also, more sophisticated writing than Rise of Superheros (which I found to be overly fixated on sexual appeal - a more juvenal approach. This will appeal to more sophisticated readers, both Asimov fans and non.) I really appreciate this more mature approach.

The absolute best game/book Ive ever read. I shed manly tears at the the end. The amount of different endings, choices, and paths you can take. This story made me reflect on my own life and how the future will be. This is a true masterpiece. The only thing I wish is for more. Maybe an update where you can continue the story or maybe different paths to take. Brilliant work of art and story telling. There are no words to describe this game. The evolution of the story from a small town inventor to becoming something far greater in which you ultimately choose what your morality tells you is right and wrong. The different endings, especially the one with the failed creation, were each amazing. Thank you. Truly, thank you.

Ive always been enamored by stories in which robots attain humanity, and this story delivers!

Definitely by far the best choose your adventure game Ive played. Deeply gripping, immersive, and surprisingly emotional with real and unexpected consequences to small decisions. Highly recommend, provides hours of entertainment. I hope this guy writes another.

One of of the best choice of games yet very well written morale dilemmas everywhere love it

Unfortunately, while this is a good read, it has a glaring problem in the lack of a real resolution, and the forced scenes that happen no matter what you do, even if they dont make sense.

For some reason when starting a new game the old one is erased. Gameplay is a little wordy. After awhile I started just skipping to the options.

After finally finishing the game, I realized it was pretty good. The whole robot theme just wasnt for me.

It was an amazing game but I died because I tried to take over the world with killer robots. Go figure.

First one to have an ending that made me cry. This one was totally wicked. You feel really connected to your robot by the end too.
