A few glitches and issues

I havent played enough of the game to say whether its worth the money or not, but from what Ive done so far Ive noticed a problem. Im not sure if its actually supposed to be this way as a joke, or if its a major glitch, but when I try to type out a name for myself or my robot, it doesnt work. For example, I decided to type my own name instead of picking one of the first names provided. However, after I typed in my name, it said "Unnamed. Is this correct?" I kept going back and typing the name I wanted over again but it doesnt work and only ends up leaving you as "Unamed" if you dont choose one from the list. Same thing with the robot; if you try and type it a name you came up with yourself, it basically just says "your robot- is this correct?" Im not sure if this is supposed to be funny or if its actually just an error, but it kind of bugs me. One of the best parts of choice games is immersing yourself into the story, which is hard to do when you cant even give yourself the name you want. Other than that it seems interesting, a bit more philosophical in certain ways than most other choice games, though Im not sure whether thats good or not. Id prefer a little bit more freedom to interact with more than one character instead of just being allowed to befriend one while the others end up getting neglected.

Good, but Still Glitchy

This game is fairly fun and consumes a bit of my time when Im bored however being a fairly new game is definitely buggy. Like the other reviewers said it is impossible to type your own name and it makes it rather disconnecting for the player as names are a huge part of the personalization process. It also feels like youre a little powerless sometimes, like when you pick certain things so you can prevent something before it happens, they completely neglect that you even done such things. For example when you pick the hard drive that is difficult to hack, there isnt even a mention of it when the Chinese hack your companies robots; its like you do all these things in vain. Anyway however it is still fun and worth the money, I just hope for bug fixes, and updates in the future. :)

I think this (game?) is definitely worth the money! It has a great story and is very replay able, I would recommend this game to any of you! I thought it was so good I even bought it in steam! (Pc)

Great, well-written game

Developers did a great job. This game is well-written and has several compelling story lines.

Awesome

Ive been with CoG for a while now, patiently awaiting a new game akin to the old ones, focused on extreme character development. This game takes it to the maximum, letting you watch your character grow as you play. I intended to make a war-focused, Humanity-free character, and she became just as loving towards her robots as my Empathy-focused game. hoping for more like this soon!

Singular

Wow, this was so much better than what I expected. lol was recommended to play this game, being told that it only takes an hour to play through. Thats true, and the writing alone totally makes it worth the price. But Ive since played through it over and over and over again. Its like everything choose-your-own-adventure moves wished they could be, but better in the way that only a video game can be. I expect to try some of this companys other story games, but its hard to imagine any of them will be as fully in my butter zone as this one has been.

Very fun and involved

Quite a bit more complex than most of the COGs coming out now. Very fun, high replay value- I still havent gotten all the endings.

Amazing game

Awesome game, really long but not tedious. Played it over and over. Please write more :).

Wow

This game is amazing. I am really attached to my robot.

Absolutely amazing product!

Perhaps the best choice of.. games released until now. Very tight, seamless storyline with drastic choices available and consequences that effects the latter part of the story. With the amount of content this provides, a price of mere $5.00~ seem nothing compared to its value. If youve enjoyed some of this companys games like me (like the choice of romance, vampire, hero, space, and ship series). Then this is the holy grail of all.

Amazing

Great story and lots of choices. Many interesting paths to take. This is the first choice game that I have replayed over and over just to see different ways to live the life of a robot designer. I very much recommend this novel/game.

Really good

Really good and really long, definitely worth the buy as its one of the best choice of games Ive played.

So good!

Fun and engaging with so many different paths

Fantastically complex

I was hesitant at first because Im not a sci-fi fan at all, but the story is interesting enough to keep even non-sci-fi fans engaged. Ive played through this game 4 times now, and each play through was completely different from the others. Looking it up online, Ive found there are still tons of paths I havent explored. I highly recommend this game. Note: noticed a few minor continuity errors, but nothing game-breaking. For example, since you can really only spend time with 1, maybe 2, people in the beginning, sometimes things happen in the other peoples lives that are referred to later on. The narrative acts like I should already know these things when I had no clue.

Fantastic!

I was impressed by the depth of choice and quality of writing in this lovely game. Highly recommend!

Interesting but flawed

I played through it a couple times so far and while its a pretty good game of its kind it is buggy and at times frustrating.

Amazing gam... Book... Thing!

So i played other Choice of [BLANK] Games, and this one is the best. Its the funniest, and your choices really do affect the whole story, not just a chapter of it. Unlike choice of dragons. And also there is Nintendo in it. Just saying.

Great one

Other interactive novels lure you by adding visual fireworks. This one is focused on delivering great story.

Amazing game

I had a great time playing it and exploring choices i could make.

Fantastic

So many rewarding paths to try.
